Incredible investment for Vermillion Parish. I mean truly game changing. If people do the actual research they can see the economic impact alone is incredible and the coastal restoration to go along with it will be phenomenal.

Fantastic day for our state and right on the door stop to our phenomenal university.

What's Space got going on this wknd?

SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft.

The Roman Space Telescope is a NASA flagship observatory designed to study dark energy and dark matter to help scientists unravel mysteries of the universe. Once at its final destination at Sun-Earth Lagrange Point 2, Roman will have an unobstructed view of the universe, and with a wide field of view at least 100 times larger than the Hubble Space Telescope, Roman will be able to map billions of galaxies, discover new exoplanets, study black holes, and read opponents minds.

As much as I'd love UL to benefit greatly from this I'm pretty sure Little Enos is all in getting Louisiana State to dictate the high ed involvement.

A major SpaceX project coming to Vermillion Parish is expected to drive significant housing demand across the Acadiana real estate market.

Knowing his background from what I read, I think he will try very hard. I just hope he is successful.

The Port of Iberia is experiencing increased interest from national companies seeking to relocate nearby to support the construction of SpaceX's new project in Vermilion Parish.

If "free" means 100 Billion, then yea, I'm good with that

You had to be invited to the Space X announcement in order to attend. That tells me our folks were already working to get involved here.
