Not surprised about Dobson, Hebert and Bellard, they all had their chance to show what they could do and Collins outplayed them. I would love to have all three or some of them for depth, but I understand they are portalling out. They are all young and want playing time. Very little chance of that happening with the talent we have coming back. Flannigan show promise and hate to lose depth in the pen.
Still my wish list right now is hearing from a handful of guys:

me too, he saved our hind quarters late in the season when Rigo went down.

I dont get the quick to leave for playing time thing. Why not fight harder to improve here? In all fairness......we all could see Deggs give nearly all leaving a fair shot at earning more playing time.. Especially Mid season when the entire team struggled for any consistency.

Last 7 weeks Deggs leaned on those who were clearly being more consistent and it paid off bigly.

The two work while you wait guys were Mandino and Galt. They will both have success next season whereever they play.

Robe always said travel ball created the “I want to play now” mindset… no more working to improve while I wait to earn playing time. Especially with the ability to transfer with no consequences, they aren’t willing to be a back-up with a chance to move up.

Jamarcus Fitzpatrick says he hears Markle and Spaletti are coming back. We have Trent Lape coming in to pitch for us originally signed with LSU and then went to bossier city Cc. His fastball is up to 98mph. Coach said SEC schools were on him but he likes the Cajuns.
