Deepest/Strongest position has to be 3B. Conde, Otto, Marceaux, Manning, Liscano, Hart, Norwood, any of these players could see action at 3B.

lol. If I were drafting players for an intrasquad game, I would take Hart before Marceaux; though your statement is true in the sense that by and large both can play just about any position well.

Based on what we have for season 27', we should try to find out if they can!

Last year, Marceaux threw 62 mph just playing around.

Curious if UL has ever signed a graduated HS pitcher from the Colorado Sparkler the month before school starts. Been a whirlwind for that young lady. Good luck to her!

With the softball camp coming up on 8-22, for players in 9th grade to college sophmores, they should get an early look at potential prospects.

So glad to hear about this event.

I was worried nothing was happening

I heard the Cajuns got a commitment from one of Ridinsuicide players. Jadin Basco out of Pineville.

                              This is good news!

FYI, Jadin Basco is a standout softball player from Pineville High School in Louisiana, primarily competing as an outfielder and utility player. She was a key leader for the Lady Rebels, helping them secure the LHSAA Division I Select State Championship on May 3, 2026, with a 12-1 victory over John Curtis.

During the 2026 state tournament, Basco delivered a historic performance, hitting three home runs over two games, including a crucial three-run homer in the championship game against John Curtis. This performance brought her season total to 11 home runs and marked the program's first state title since 1998.

Her consistent excellence earned her selections to the 2026 Louisiana Softball Coaches Association (LSCA) All-State Team in Class 5A and the Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Class 5A All-State team. As a junior in 2026, she was also recognized as a top performer, having been named to the 2025 All-State team as a sophomore.
