Heard Mr. Bobby on Foote's show say that catcher Danika Spinogatti from Florida St. will be joining the Cajuns.

Hopefully we get a pitcher as well

The word is, two donors each gave $100,000. She has gotten two players in the portal. I doubt very seriously if they each got $100,000.

I’m sure a lot of that money was spent keeping kids here . If you believe some on here, there were rumors that 10 kids wanted to get in the portal. Just my guess

They have to be out of money.

Well, that is not something you like to hear. At least have the courtesy to respond to someone even if you are not interested.

She is trying to get the staffs attention. Don't be surprised is she signs with Illinois or Memphis soon if the Cajuns keep ignoring her.

They also don't answer or view emails, and don't answer phone calls, or voice messages.

Do they even want to be coaching here? WTF

Our staff don't even keep up with their X accounts which is key in today's world of recruiting.

You are correct, not great stats but still pretty good stats for 75 AB's. If she is a good catcher defensively then taking a chance on her would definitely need to be considered and as you stated it is a position of need.

This is someone who played at a lower school than UL, and it's a position of need for UL. Maybe they should take a chance on her. From the report I have of the kid, she is just the type of player the Cajuns need. Not great stats, but enough to fill a void.

I am expecting tomorrow or Wednesday the Cajuns will have one or two portal players announced.

pitcher?

Not sure; was told a recruit and their parents were with the coaching staff, minus Shipman. Haven't seen anyone publicly commit yet.

I hope when this class is completed, some member of the media asks her to describe her recruiting philosophy. I’m not holding my breath, though

The Lafayette media has NO backbone to ask the tough questions.
