ATC had been at the strip for as long as it existed. Downtown Bars were all 21 and over in the beginning, which kept all the under 21’s at the strip. Once the bars downtown started letting in under 21, the strip was done.

Sidebar on Jefferson was one that you could get in to under 21. It was in that building on Jefferson and vermillion where the violin shop is now. It was a strange set up. The bathrooms were in the lobby and I can imagine the others in that building saw a nightmare or two on Mondays.

I think there was a water feature on the ground that people would constantly step in.

They were there all the time, they didn’t always go after the bars every night but they were writing MIP’s every night.
