See…I knew my suggestion to just make Coach Dez AD and save some dollar bills had merit!

It’s a great idea! Would he have to give up play calling though?

Nico would be worth the investment. When UL athletics thrives so does the entire university and community.

For somethings it is wise to spend more on than you have, because the return is more than you spent and then you "have" the future in your hands.

Problem is, it's not a guarantee and that is how deficits can creep in and you are always stuck in the past.

            Flip a coin.

Looking at their parking lots, People may not have issue dropping $100 at Superior or LaFonda or Don’s. They’re
              definitely full on the weekend.

Look at Cajun Field parking and tailgating on a Saturday. It’s pathetic.

When Cajun Field starts to look like more like a Chili’s on Pinhook crowd vs Don’s or Sarrica’s, you better reevaluate your business strategy. Or, best of luck keeping the lights on by doing the same old same old.

It's all about FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). When people see a full parking lot, they get curious. When they see one that's empty, they keep driving. Hopefully, we can get an AD in here that understands that concept. If it's Trey, then great. If it's not, then hopefully it's someone who can create FOMO through community engagement.

I also think it's time to start RCAF townhall meetings.

I like the idea of RCAF town hall meetings. Trey should make this happen.

Nico is AD at an FCS school, albeit his Alma mater. Are you saying we can't pay substantially more than an FCS school to get the right AD here?

A good LA Flowchart could come out of a RCAF Town Hall.

Nico can definitely come to UL. We are a much more attractive athletic program than Murray State. Are you kidding me lol

He’s making $650,000 per year at Murray state. Where does the money come from to increase that here? Maggard was around $405k

He is not coming here. Asking price is higher than what he is making now and probably double what we are willing to and can afford to pay.

He's set where he is now, including getting some sort of "of the year" award from that city. We need new blood, new ideas, a national search for competent individual who has a strong lean into marketing and fund raising. By now, there's probably a short list of candidates being worked.

He already makes more than Maggard did. So yes.
