The person he is replacing was making
      Sr Asoc Athletic Director $472,102
(2025) (Girton, Marcia) and she had an additional title as Deputy Director.

Youngsville Sports Complex is already built for NCAA beach volleyball. Easy place to start the program.... if the money was there.

I appreciate the attempt for supplying the link, but both sources have articles that do not say that.

If that were true, that would be a considerable raise, and I wouldn't blame him.

It might be. When it begins and starts winning, build a Louisiana Beach VB zone outside the Swamp.

I know we are trying to improve in football, reestablish basketball, stabilize softball, and keep moving up the hill in baseball… but, wow, can’t wait for beach volleyball.

Wait. You actually think Athletic Director’s at D-1 programs walk around being complete open books regarding their employment situations with fans?!? Hahaha

He told me it was a better opportunity and wasn't a mutual or force out by UL. Believe what you want. He is getting paid way more,(400Kish to 1.3Mish, that is tripling his salary) around his family and next in line to be the AD. It's a no brainer. BM is a good character person, he has no reason to lie and neither do I. Remember about 6-8 months ago on RP, I told everyone BM would not be at UL when the football season started. They cut his pay and his staff. He grabbed a great opportunity.

I’m afraid he won’t be a big help towards athletics. He has bigger fish to fry for several years before getting athletics back on track.

UL's seasoned head coaches were certainly disappointed to see Dr. Bryan Maggard leave Lafayette after a decade of leading the Ragin' Cajuns as athletic director.
