Missouri makes more revenue from just the SEC tv money ($72.4 M in 2024-25), nearly double UL's entire budget. Life will be much simpler for him in the SEC. I would imagine he will be getting a pretty serious bump in pay. He paid his dues at the G6 level and is now parlaying that back into the P5. And, after 22 prior years at Missouri before UL, he returns home. Best of luck to him and thanks for his years at UL.
The University of Louisiana is announcing that Dr. Bryan Maggard has accepted a leadership position as the Deputy Athletics Director/Chief Operating Officer at the University of Missouri.
Maggard, who has guided Louisiana Athletics since 2017, will assist with a seamless transition.Comment

Club Hud, but I don't see it happening, even though it would be f'n awesome.
As far as I'm concerned (and I liked Maggard, dude knew our branding was ___ and made some sweet improvements, and Massive improvements to facilities, back to back Top 25 finishes in the Holy Grail sport, and was rep'n us on the College Football Playoff Committee for the next 3 seasons) the only thing we need to be worried about is Drops. Catch the football, we'll be alright.
And whoever said move Des to a Stokley role, damn, some don't learn from the past.

Yea I agree. Plus they (Zou) get a sitting member on the CFPC. Good luck to him. He did excellent work here and will do the same at Missouri.

For that to happen they would need to replace that sport.Club Hud, but I don't see it happening, even though it would be f'n awesome.

From a more serious (because the front porch of the U depends upon it) point of view, I would rec speaking with Joe Moglia as a potential consultant for this search. For his bio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Moglia
Download speechify if you dont have a read out loud extension in your browser and listen to whole detailed background of the Wik article. A Louisiana alum in finance with a Football mind would be one hell of a solid find.Comment
