I do not know how to get the university to get to use these, but if we going to do black this is the way we need to do it.

Well so i have been there. It all falls under the SUNY system. So all Universities are SUNY Buffalo, SUNY Albany etc. there is probably over 50 schools in that system. They all are SUNY (city tag)

There isnt a defacto NYSU ot UNY, there is NYU (private)

So instead of being SUNY Buffalo which is there official name, they just call themselves Buffalo.

i actually been there i had a guy went there, graduated from UL in pre-law and graduated from law school from SUNY Buffalo or Buffalo.

Although, I believe, UL's official name is the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, the UL logo does not have "at" Lafayette, just Louisiana Lafayette, hence that often used reference. Below are examples of what UL could use academically and athletically to reflect a common university logo and reference and, like Texas, emphasize LOUISIANA.

Again I am not advocating getting rid of the Fleur de lis, but if they wanted a wordmark! Which one advances the name from an outsider.

Here is another example of why the old, block Ragin Cajuns needs to be replaced and updated. It doesn't fit with any Louisiana lettering, be it squared or script. This is just not a good look and nothing I would spend my money on. We need to also update the Ragin Cajuns logo. Here also is a scripted logo that we are already using. Suggestions?
