Who controls social because I got in email but did not see it anywhere on social. Today if it is not on social it did not happen.

I dont know I just get our and usm emails and blasts since my daughter graduated from usm and all of the promotions at both schools are identical and thing like know before you go are identical format

I heard the school is saving $50K/game by not having more gates open and not having trash cans set up near all TG spots. I have no idea if this is true or not, just some banter going around the Tailgating folks.

For the Lamar game, they had a ton of trash cans stored near the maintenance building, roped together, I guess in a effort to keep them there. We pulled one of them out and placed it near our TG spot, same spot we've been in for 20 years. This week, we were offered a couple of trash bags for our trash and were told that we couldn't have a trash can. There were a few trash cans under the cover of the maintenance building and we grabbed one regardless of what we were told and set it between a couple of pick-ups. There are some cost cutting measures that don't make sense and this is one of them.

I was curious how the digital only parking passes were going to work .

I showed my phone to someone standing inside the gate on Betrand no one ever scanned anything. did anyone’s get scanned?

While it doesn't make sense, there was a crew on a Gator riding around picking up bags at spots if they were full throughout the day. They came offer us bags in the morning.

The reason I pointed this out in the first place is because it was night and day when comparing opening weekend. For Lamar, many of the official accounts were posting leading up to Saturday. Last week was silence & it seemed odd.
