Some things I noticed from him. Explosive with the ball in his hands both running up the middle and to the edge, strong arm and fairly accurate. What I did not love is watching the tape on him, I rarely noticed him going through progressions and hitting anyone except his #1 option. It looks like when the #1 option was not available he would put his foot in the ground and run. I would like to see more in going through his progressions through his #2 and #3 options.

That might be about the best we can do these days recruiting QBs out of high school. Hope he can learn to go through progressions, but if he can't, then hope he's extremely dynamic and durable running the football.

Yeah, I am not saying this kid can't be good and again, just looking at a small sample size on his videos, I think the positives far outweigh the negatives, I am just saying, in these videos you do not see a situation where he had to go through them. Everything I saw was hitting his first option and/or putting his foot in the ground. He looks like a dynamic playmaker with his feet and has a really strong arm, a number of his passes he hit his receiver in stride, 30, 40 yards down the field. The only negative I could possibly see was the fact that I did not see a situation where he had to move off that number 1 guy and look for other options.

If you knew the route tree they were running then you may be right, but there are many plays where he has 2 or 3 receivers on the same side of the field and he picks the guy that is open or getting open. Also, this is film from a junior in HS. He looks pretty good to me!

I agree and that is why I said what I saw was a small sample size and the positives far outweigh the negatives, I was just pointing out that what I saw on the video.

Looks pretty talented. He still has a year in high school so hopefully he will continue to get better. The only problem is that if he really blossoms his senior year bigger offers with good NIL money will come lurking.
