Perhaps there's no more interesting decision UL's coaching staff has to make in Saturday's challenging road game at the No. 14-ranked USC Trojans in Los Angeles than how to handle injuries.

Once again, coach Michael Desormeaux's staff is dealing with a long list of troubling injuries.

"It's kind of one of those deals," Desormeaux said. "You've got some in and out, but none of it's long-term, which is a good thing."

Does any team have as many injuries as UL seems to have every year? It borders on the ridiculous?

He's on the Depth Chart on the photo. I was wondering what happened last week though. I didn't hear anything about him but noticed he did not play the entire 4th quarter. While we were up, I didn't think we were up THAT much to bench him so I was worried he was injured.

I think they benched him to have him rest for USC
