    Labor Day Football

Surprised to see no Labor Day college football games scheduled until evening. Seems like an nationally televised game opportunity for UL in the future. Not that we want a hot, 95 degrees daytime home game, but a Labor Day road trip game to an agreeable Big 12, B10, or ACC school in more northern climes could work. Fill the 2:30 p.m. TV window as lead in game for the Monday primetime televised game. Downside is short turnaround to Game 2 home opener against FCS opponent.

I tend to agree because Labor Day is prime real estate for football. Just because everyone has off doesn't mean everyone is occupied.
