No Drops. No Drops in the rain. The kids call that drip.
That is a mind boggling statistic when you consider he started the game 1 of 4 (25%) three incompletions and then went on to have only 1 incompletion the rest of the game.
Four incompletions total. Two interceptions, one was a fluke.
After the rough start Lunch was on fire 16 of 17 did not touch the ground.Comment

Nah I'm referring to the entire last season. It wasn't play calling. It was dropping the Football.
Also, Dez said that b/c that's how it's done.Comment

Eh debatable. If it was really hot outside, debatable. Iβve seen multiple bands across the country wear an alternate uniform because of the weather. What should happen in event of rain is full uniform without plumes (the feathers that go on the shako hats) and rain coats. Thatβs what we did when I was in POA.
My main concern is the current size of the band. I could barely hear them on the espn+ broadcast. Iβm sure there are efforts being made by the directors because I heard they are inviting high schoolers to sit in with them for one game this season. We need all the recruiting opportunities we can get.Comment

Des took the blame for the pic 6 in the post game. Said he went to that play to much during the game.Comment

FIVE rushing touchdowns
Louisiana opened its season on a Saturday night in Lafayette with a 38-7 victory over Lamar under overcast conditions. The team addressed pregame questions surrounding its running game by scoring five touchdowns on the ground, while the defense held Lamar's offense without a point. Lamar's only score came on a 40-yard pick six.

I was at the game, but had recorded the game. I just rewatched the game. Beale actually played well in the 4th quarter. Last year, he had that deer in the headlights in all of his starts. I know that one quarter does not make a season, but he looked so much more comfortable out there leading the team. Pics happen. Lunch had 2? But his passing was accurate and handling of the offense was under control. However, let's all hope we only get to see him in mop up duty this year and for no other reason.Comment

Yeah, he was definitely more confident than what we've seen of him in the past and even Jay was talking about that during the game as well.
