I’m sure a lot of that money was spent keeping kids here . If you believe some on here, there were rumors that 10 kids wanted to get in the portal. Just my guess

Nice pickup if you read about her. She did not play at all this season as a freshman behind a very good catcher at FSU who hit .344 with 9 HR's and a ,416 OBA.

Dani Spinogatti hails from the prestigious Montverde Academy where she turned herself into one of the top prospects in the country. Spinogatti is the No. 29 overall player by Extra Innings Softball and is a six-time Florida Class 3A All-State honoree. In 2025, Spinogatti hit .485 with eight home runs and 40 RBI as she helped Montverde Academy to a No. 2 ranking in the country. She was a PGF All-American in 2025 and was a finalist for the 2025 Florida Gatorade Player of the Year. She was selected to the USSSA Select 30 All-Star Game in 2021 and 2022 and the Triple Crown All-Star Game in 2023. She was also the Montverde Academy Athlete of the Year and became just the 10th female athlete in school's history to win the award. Spinogatti helped Montverde Academy to its first-ever state title in 2024. Spinogatti played for the U18 Italian National Team and is currently in the process of earning Italian dual citizenship. Off the field, Spinogatti earned Highest Honors, is a member of the National Honors Society, Rho Kappa, National Spanish Honors Society and National Science Honors Society. She is the daughter of Dean and Camille Spinogatti and has one brother Zachary. Her father played basketball at Montclair State University.

She took a medical redshirt last season due to ACL surgery. This is a risk vs reward. From what I understand, she is about 8 months into rehabbing. Can they expect her to catch most of the time? That will be the question.

How do you know that with zero D1 stats? We do need her to be at least as good as Kennedy. You never know what you will get with a freshman and a freshman coming off a major injury.

Hoping her rehab is going well and that she will be ready for the spring. We need her for sure. We need her potential to turn into a good D1 player.
