She has in the past. I have no clue if she has any plans for this off-season. Something that softball needs to do going forward is to have an open tryout for all UL students who are interested. Maybe every few years, they find a diamond in the rough. Williams was a walk-on, but she asked to try out. There needs to be an open invitation every fall. As a matter of fact, all UL sports teams should do this.

If it’s any consolation, the Softball twitter/x posted that the coaches are traveling for recruiting purposes. They’re doing something at least. Just wished they utilize the portal more.

A friend of mine who is a big UL fan and supporter told me that he heard it. His information is usually accurate. Hopefully in this instance he was incorrect.

Then this would explain why my friend told me that Brook Otto is in the portal. I think my buddy just played a joke on me and I fell for it.
