    Fences moving in

I heard recently that the fences were moving in on the baseball field & a party was being built in the outfield. Any one know what this is going to look like? Are they permanent seats or just a party area??

I am hoping the purpose was to create added revenue through unique atmosphere.

It may change recruiting philosophy on several fronts.

A party in the pines? Sounds like a great way to generate revenue.

From what I remembered from the interview, the foul poles will remain the same; then the fence will come in 5 feet, then 10 feet in center. This will create space for a “Party Platform” in center field. Deggs said we had contributors and it was paid for. But what will be out there? What will this “Party Platform” look like? Are there permanent seats, or can individuals rent it per game??

The foul line distance will be the same, but the gap and center field will be moved 10 feet, as I understood.

Gaps moving in 5’ to 370 (from 375) and CF in 10’ to 390 (from ‘400)

If they are tearing it down, they will already have construction plans and renderings of what this will look like. Why not exhibit them to generate excitement?

And have all of us degenerates complain about it? Not a chance. LOL

Pretty sure it will look exactly like the fence last year, just a little closer.

'Optical illusion' the pine trees may look farther away.

It will still play huge. It’s a dead air park.

Yes, and if there's a wind it's usually a SWesterly blowing straight in from centerfield.
