Even Coach Ali stated this. We have the most money of any softball program in the SBC. I think coach Ali just missed on a few players. Including pitchers.

If we really have the highest NIL monies in the Sun Belt (I find that hard to believe, but possibly so), then the Coach needs to be ___canned now. You don’t have the highest NIL monies in the conference and end up with two seasons like this. Last year, I can overlook for rebuilding, but not this year.

So, ULM, with less NIL money, beat the Cajuns four times this year. From 2007 to 2024, 17 years, ULM beat the Cajuns, twice.

The ULM pitcher has the Cajuns number. Just could not get anything going offensively. Hopefully Coach can get an influx of talent next season and keep the talented players that are currently on the roster. This losing stuff is not fun.

I didn't specify because all areas are needed. But I would say pitching needs to greatly improve. I think we need a splash NIL signing there.
