Win four at home and you are NCAA tournament bound. At least they play much better at home so there is always a chance.Comment

Finishing out of the top 6 is extremely disappointing, but it's probably our best course to win the tourney. We avoid Tx State until the finals and I believe they are the team to beat. Of course, I'm assuming we beat Troy Wednesday, ULM Thursday and either SoAl or USM on Friday. Nobody in that group is scary good. However, our pitching needs to be at it's best to win 4 in a row! A ray of hope was watching Lexie pitch at SoAL last weekend. That was the best she's looked all season.👍 2Comment

Since the TSAB game the pitching has been really good, the hitting and hitting with risp hasn't been good. They will have to score runs to win this tournament.Finishing out of the top 6 is extremely disappointing, but it's probably our best course to win the tourney. For a team that failed to reach the upper division of the Sun Belt softball race through the season and is a No. 8 seed in the Sun Belt Tournament, the UL Ragin' Cajuns got some good news on the 2026 All-Sun Belt team.
Sophomore catcher Kennedy Marceaux was honored as the first-team catcher and freshman Haley Hart was voted as the Freshman of the Year in the league. Hart also joined third baseman Brooke Otto and shortstop Mia Liscano as second-team members on the All-Sun Belt squad.
