    Zea Rotisserie & Bar

A Lafayette restaurant that began as a leap of faith on a two-lane road is marking its 25th anniversary with a newly remodeled bar and restaurant.

Zea Rotisserie & Bar, led by General Manager Leonard Louvierre, celebrated the milestone with an evening event at its Lafayette location. The restaurant, which expanded from the New Orleans area, has grown into a fixture of the local dining scene over the past quarter century.

I've been good friends with Lenny's brother Troy for about 45- years.

Lenny is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Got the Thai ribs the first time I went there and haven’t gotten anything else since.

It's funny you say that. We go there pretty regularly, and I keep saying I am ordering something else, but it hasn't happened in a long, long time! There are plenty of other good options, the Thai ribs are just that good!

Zea is one of the most consistent restaurants in town. I'll add the Casablanca chicken as one of my favorites. And how have the corn grits not been mentioned yet!? If you're in the mood for a sandwich the Honey Island Chicken Sandwich is also one of the best.

ps I though all grits were corn grits.

I first met Lenny when I was 18 years old. That was about 1979-80. I always hung out with my older brother and his friends and Lenny was one of them. And you are right, Lenny is one of the nicest people around.
