Wear a hat. Fill an ice bag with ice, put a towel over your head, put the ice bag on the towel and put your hat over that. There is a lot of blood in your brain. If you keep your head cool it keeps the blood in your brain cool and the blood in the rest of your body cool. It tricks your body into thinking it's cooler than it is. It's the reverse of keeping your head warm in the winter. When the ice melted in the ice bag it was time to get out and drink.

I used to do work in empty water tanks. In the summer time they would get up to 135 degrees inside. This little trick saved me from passing out several times. Leaving a tank at 135 degrees and going into the air at 95 degrees felt wonderful.

      Thanks, super useful.

I hope it doesn't get to 114° like three years ago.
