That was T-Joe. What about our new president? Has anyone approached him regarding the Gator Mascot idea and revising the old Ragin Cajun logo or using UL as a logo?

I sent the new UL President an email this week with 3 points:

1. Louisiana needs to be the primary branding for both academics and athletics.
2. Athletics needs additional funding to increase staff, facility improvements, and remain competitive with our peers.
3. UL needs a mascot. We can allow students and alumni to vote on the gator or something else.

Everyone on here has walked by Cypress Lake hundreds of times. The Louisiana Alligator has been our mascot the whole time. It's the one thing on campus that is a potential million years old species that's been watching ever student since we were SLII.

I could give a damn what MH does. Our branding has been destroyed by fools. What happens when the old timers are no longer above ground. They're the beating heart of our Programs. And since the 4th name change, no one took a flaming dildo seriously and built NOTHING. Wanna know how I came up with this rant? Because we are actually still having to word this b.s.
