Being a bad boss and not knowing how to balance a stat sheet is not illegal, it is idiotic but misappropriating funds is. Unfortunately, there is nothing illegal about spending more money than you take in as a manager of a company/business, it becomes illegal when you are using funds inappropriately.

This is all about the letter of the law vs the spirit of the law.

No excuse for this, none of it. Some folks around here? Now they want to wipe the dog mess off their boots after they been tracking it through the house for years. Time to mop the floors, and it should start at Martin Hall.

UL lays off a forty year employee and there is a DA investigation.

Meanwhile, across the Swamp they freak out and fire the chief financial officer and 25 employees while the gubna distracts with a major fundraising proposal.

                      Louisiana humor.

snapping my fingers, with my arm raised high so you don't notice my socks don't match.

Nobody finds the timing of UL's financial issues and Louisiana State's move toward research interesting? I'd bet the attack is coming.

History has shown, LSA&M will stoop as low as it takes to protect their dominance, and the politicians will allow it.

Man…some of you are like the blue haired, septum piercing Latin studies major blaming Trump because she can’t find a job to pay her $100k student loan debt. We need to fix our own ___ in Martin Hall and stop crying about that other school to the East at every single turn.

This current situation is a frick up by UL’s own leadership, or former leadership.

He never said UL wasnt guilty of anything. It was the fact it was over $5k, and that if it was an issue over 5k, would the DA open an investigation against LSU? Would they face the same scrutiny? Of course not.
