Linus Wilson, a professor of finance at the University of Louisiana became the first Louisiana resident to stand on the highest natural point on all 50 U.S. states after climbing to the summit of North America in Alaska on June 17.
Denali, federally designated as Mt. McKinley, is the highest mountain peak in North America, with a summit elevation of 20,310 feet above sea level.
