Well it accomplishes a hell of alot more, or at worst does much less damage, than getting blown out by Louisiana Tech, like we have six of the last eight matchups (and losing all eight of those) with the correct name attached.

Win the damn game. Get blown out again, and what we're called on their website schedule will matter absolutely ziltch. That's the reality of the situation.

Travel distance

Jmu goes to San Diego, Troy goes to Utah and we go to LA, those trips greatly increase our miles obviously.

The games will be better attended, but it is not worth the ground we will lose on recruiting. We are no different than them now.

We lost ground on recruiting the day Billy left. The talent level recruited since has been nowhere near what Billy got.
