You are correct, none of us have crystal balls, so we don't know what she will be when she arrives here. But based on her pedigree, she has the ability to come in and be an immediate impact player. I have discussed this on this board at nauseum with JMV and others, while we have all seen top tier elite talent come in and never live up to the hype, on the contrary we have also seen athletes who were unknowns based on HS stats come in and be superstars.

At first glance, there doesn't appear to be many connections between Angelyna Conde of La Mirada, California and Lamson Park in Lafayette.

Dave it is pointless to argue. Notice how there was little or no mention of her signing by some on here. They never acknowledge a good.....

This is a dumb post. She has little to no D1 stats to have an opinion. Also, most folks have never heard of her. Dave saying she is a top tier recruit is a stretch. Hopefully she will be.

If you read Footes article, she would have been here if Glasco would have stayed. He thought enough of her to bring her to TT. I think we all trust his recruitment while he was here.

I am so glad you posted that; I was about to mention that. She would have already been a Ragin' Cajun had Glasco still been the coach in 2025 and 2026. This was her destination, when Coach left, she chose to go with him to Texas Tech, he recruited her and thought enough of her to bring her to Texas Tech.

She has 4 years to play and improve and in that article she mentions that she is a better player today for playing last year on Texas Tech and facing some of the best pitchers and players in the country in practice. I am excited to see what she can do when she gets on the field at Lamson Park.

                  Naysayers be damned!!!!

Hopefully she is great if not hopefully she can be coached up by the staff.

This is what the article said.

For one, the Texas Tech transfer had the Ragin' Cajuns on her recruiting radar back in high school when former UL coach Gerry Glasco began recruiting her, before she ended up in Lubbock, Texas.

Being on someone radar doesn't mean she would have came to UL. That just means she could have, huge difference.

I did read the article it said.

It never said she would have been at UL. UL was a team she was considering. Maybe she would have, but the article didn't state she would have came to UL.

The point is that Glasco wanted her. Both here and to play for a national champ. If she would not have signed here, he would have been disappointed . That’s enough for me. I’m excited to have her. Now let’s throw the kitchen sink at a certain pitcher….

Fair enough. Yes Burns would be a great pickup.
