    summer session attendance

Anybody have any idea about summer session attendance ? The campus is dead as a door nail. Not much shaking going on.

When I did summer classes, I did them online since I wasn’t from the area. Sounds like a lot of students are doing that if they still offer an online option.

Not that I can point to specifics but everything I have read indicates online options are growing.

If anything changes I doubt its that.

My kids have taken online these days. Or...if you're from out of town, you see if the local JUCO has a course recognized by your university. One of mine did that as well for something that was better to take in person rather than online.

If classes are mostly online.....why does Louisiana (or any state) need dozens of JUCO et small regional universities??? Across US have billions invested in brick et mortar campuses......and yet large numbers of students are remote.

They don't, but can't seem to break themselves free of the 1940's concept of two colleges* in every garage.

I sure hope UL counts every person who takes at least 1 on-line course in its enrollment numbers.
