    2026 UL transfers out

the following Cajun baseball players have found homes.

RHP Wil Taylor committed to McNeese
OF Maddox Mandino committed to Southeastern
IF Kasen Bellard committed to Nicholls
IF Trip Dobson committed to Nicholls

kind of what I expected. Good luck to these guys except when they play us.

That is what I expected, I wonder if the two Sam Houston guys will wind up somewhere in the state or wind up at a JUCO, if that is even an option. They did not perform well when they had the chances.

Maybe Louisiana State will pick them up. They need the help...

I understand Mandino transferring out to try to get more playing time for his last year, but still a bummer. The dude played his ass off. Very proud to have had him as a member of our program.

He will do well at SLU. He will make an immediate impact there.

Dude was such a versatile swing player that could be used in multiple spots including pitcher if needed

I would not be surprised if Mandino is an All-Southland performer next year at SLU.

Sorry to see Mandino go. I liked watching him play. Plus he went to the same high school l did. I think l graduated with his grandfather (?). BTW, we won the state championship my senior year.

Good luck to Maddox (except when they play us! 😊)!

Can we tell the quality of players lost by the program that picked them up?
