If roster sizes don't change, a lot of freshmen and underclassmen will get bumped with this ruling.

Those that remain and only get bumped down the depth chart obviously will see less playing time.

The talent graveyard will grow.

If astute recruiting coordinators see it for what it is, there will be a truckload of raw but talented players available for transfer next year.

Pay close attention to highly the highly recruited who don't see playing time and go after them.
