I just looked at the ESPN 300 and noticed quite a few players from Louisiana. What I noticed was not a single offer from UL to any of them but plenty of offers from all other Louisiana schools. What is Des doing not going after any 4 stars from here especially in Lafayette Metro? Maybe I am missing something but wtf?

We have (4) 4 star offers for Louisiana players, and (6) 4 star offers for other states.
(1) 5 star offer for a Louisiana kid.

Cajuns add Athlete Jabarian "JB" Blake out of Wylie, Tx. This dude is projected as a DB or WR, plays QB in HS, but runs a 4.35/40. Kid actually has a pretty big arm, but I think he will be moved from QB to another position in college. Claims to have an offer from Texas State, can't find anything on him on 247sports, but on his X Page he lists a number of camps attended including UNT, Baylor, Texas Tech and SMU.

Major Applewhite is from Baton Rouge and most of the places those kids are from are actually closer to mobile than Lafayette.

south alabama offers tons of bennies you can even get in state tuition if you live in the coastal counties of MS
