The team finished very well, a 41 win season. Nothing to hang their heads about. Even though every off season you lose guys for various reasons, very optimistic about next season.

Deggs is by far not dumb nor blind. He has to see what schools are facing with the NIL crap. I can only imagine how nervous he is about who and how many might get attracted away from here by money.

Awesome job Cajuns! Making it to the finals of a regional is a very respectable season. I wish we could have beat Lipscomb without throwing Pruitt. I would have liked to see how he fared against
        msu on reasonable rest.

Well, given #9 in the SportsCenter Top 10 is out there for the world to see, probably that's one "blazing" amongst the P4. That was a major league throw.

Talk about a reminder that the baseball season is long. During the slump, it was looking like the highlight of the season would be a win over a bad tiger team. Boy what a difference 5 weeks makes. Have not enjoyed watching baseball this much in a while.

With the collective athletic year Louisiana had in 2025, a boost was needed and these guys delivered.

Has any rumors/intel emerged about keeping our outstanding freshman class?? This group sort of reminds me of 1998/1999.... Great thing ahead if we can keep most of these guys

Awesome run! They played 11 games in less than 2 weeks? Thats a tall order for any pitching staff
the offense really came into its own

On RaginReview last night I think they mentioned something along the lines of 14 games in 17 days

He was making his pitch for them to stay in the postgame last night. He knows. Seems like a pretty tight group but from what I've seen in the past sometimes its the parents that are a bigger issue. Even before NIL a lot of decisions on staying or transferring were because of parental influence and not the players.

From what I've seen publicly posted, many of these parents are also fully bought in.

I think Lasalle is a junior. He’s really come along. I hope he stays for his senior year. And Markle, will he stay for his senior season? Of course we want to hang on to catcher, shortstop, and outfield. If we can keep Pruitt & Brasch, Morgan comes back, Roman stays, some of the young arms develop and a couple more good pitchers come in, we have a chance to be Really good next year. Just have my fingers crossed through all this NIL stuff. (I thought Basketball was going in the right direction then “POOF”, NIL showed up)
