Ouch. Hoped we’d at least keep it respectable, but we knew it was a tall order with the lack of pitching depth. We just ran into a buzz saw in MSU. They were far and away the best team in this regional, especially with the massive home field advantage. Sucks to lose so badly, but no one but us and Mississippi State are going to remember the final score in this one.

Was happy to see the way we battled back to eliminate a very good team in Cincinnati, and looking forward to next year.

I am worried about keeping at least two or three of our freshmen... especially Brown, since I've heard a couple of rumors from even before the season ended.

Whatever boosters we have put up the damn money to keep these guys man. This is the only sport where we have a shot to make a run. If we can’t keep them why do we have a program.

Congrats go out to the Ragin Cajun baseball players and to Coach Deggs and his staff. This was an awesome season and the play, execution of the fundamentals baseball and their "grit" showed up, especially in the last couple of weeks. Their courage to achieve and hard work paid off, without a doubt!
