As a Cajun fan, to watch the team, pretty much, be non-competitive in such a pivotal game is heartbreaking.
Congratulations to Becky for beating the Cajuns for the first time in 11 years. Her 29-game losing streak to the Cajuns is now over. Becky, if I were you, I would go out tonight and celebrate until midnight.

Struck out nine times. Really an embarrassing effort. At least we're guaranteed to make the tournament. Let's hope South Al does celebrate all night. To watch the Cajuns, pretty much, be non-competitive in such a pivotal game is heartbreaking.

An advantage in the circle can make all the difference. Harrison for South Alabama has a 13 and 11 record. Is she an elite pitcher? No. Did the Cajuns make her look like an elite pitcher? Yes.
Unfortunately, for the Cajuns, the starting pitcher today has the highest era of any starting pitcher in the history of the program. And, the pitcher who came in and replaced her had the highest era for any starting pitcher in the history of the program in 2025. I'm not trying to be critical. I am just pointing out statistical facts.
So, not being able to hit a pitcher with a velocity of 68 mph and not being able to pitch effectively led to exactly what happened today.
