Crazy day on the diamond yesterday. Not sure to chalk it up to parity in college baseball or just an overload of "that's just baseball'.

Four of the five SBC teams ended up in the losers bracket including national seed S. Miss. And just so they didn't feel lonely number one overall seed UCLA decided to join them along with Auburn and Florida State. ECU taking Tennessee down was a bit of a surprise to some. Personally didn't find it that surprising. USC Upstate took down Oklahoma State.

SBC needs to get back on track today. Not a good look that the only team to win yesterday was the team that has one foot out the door.

Seems a large majority of conferences have gotten rid of the "if necessary" portion of the final matchup in conf tourny, with just a one and done final.....given that will there ever be a chance the ncaa follows suit to do the same in regional play
