- If they are equally seeded teams, this is the official tiebreaker as stated on the NCAA’s website: “The committee shall review the hosting proposals according to the site selection criteria (e.g., quality and availability of the facility, revenue potential and other available accommodations) to determine the host. If only one of the teams has submitted a proposal, that team shall host if the proposal is acceptable.”

I that scenario, I can't imagine the Cajuns not hosting vs. Liberty.- If they are equally seeded teams, this is the official tiebreaker as stated on the NCAA’s website: “The committee shall review the hosting proposals according to the site selection criteria (e.g., quality and availability of the facility, revenue potential and other available accommodations) to determine the host. Just looked at Cincy, they have a dude with 28 HR's on the season and another with 16. They have 6 regular starters who hit over .300. I still feel this is a winnable regional, but man 28 HR's is impressive, he is also 10 of 11 in stolen bases.Comment

No. Equal seeds would be evaluated in terms of on the field merit … and the hosting proposal. That is assuming that Liberty even submitted a bid.
The Cajuns have a slight edge on merit (Liberty was one of the last four into the field of 64) … and I would be surprised if the Cajuns do not have a stronger hosting proposal.
