Will LSU, although not there best season, still get to be one of the chosen teams for the tourney….is it the conference champs initially and then the rankings?

If there’s less than a 0% chance, that’s what the tigers have.

For selfish reasons, I’d like to see the Cajuns in Austin. Certainly wouldn’t be the best draw, but I’d be able to make the tournament.

I want to know the bs criteria of selection. "No one wants Louisiana to land in their bracket" - Proven.

                DSR Rank
                02. UCLA (51-6)
                43. Louisiana (39-23)
                42. UC Santa Barbara (38-18)
                123. St. Mary's (CA) (34-25)

Think we had better options as a 3 seed.

Not buying the UCLA regional at all.

Agreed. Even if they are the last 2 seed (32), I would see us somewhere in Georgia or Auburn instead. They could evaluate to be anywhere from 30->32 (and find themselves in Georgia or Alabama) or a top 3 seed (and would be somewhere like Austin). I believe they are worthy of a 2 seed … and as such, will likely be assigned a 2 seed.

i would like to go somewhere different … other than Austin or College Station. Auburn would be interesting.

I do think there are a number of workable possibilities (notably in the south).

As my old step-daddy used to say: "Their(lsua&mbr's) chance is between slim and none, and Slim left town."
