    Most important things we learned from UL's spring season

    UL coach Michael Desormeaux had always kind of felt like he's had a pretty good idea of what his team was going to be like after spring practice.

    Last year proved to him that's not always the case.

    "Last year at this time, I thought we had a damn good football team coming out of spring," Desormeaux said. "Then it was like a bomb went off, it seemed like everywhere you stepped."

      It is time to win a bowl game at the very least. Something Des has never done besides with Napier's team when Napier left.
