Cajuns might not get another game in this weekend? Change to single elimination due to today's weather and forecast? Probably not bad for the Cajuns at this point, IMHO.

If that happens, so does South Alabama which means no stolen bid from them.

Yep. That would be better than sustaining another loss at this point. Hopefully the SBC can get 5 teams in, b/c the Cajuns are probably 5th in the pecking order at this point - ahead of South Al but behind Coastal, USM, Texas State, and Troy (very close - would be nice if they could get that game in and USM take care of business to push them back a bit - their record already doesn't look too good - but RPI similar to Cajuns and took 2/3 from UL).

Latest from D1 has some very positive news and projects the Cajuns in Lawrence, KS as 3 seed, while placing Troy and TXST as 65 and 66 (two of first 4 out)

Cajuns are now (weren't yesterday) listed as one of the last 4 in... i.e. subject to stolen bids and certainly can't take another loss, IMHO, or that status will take another hit.

They have only 3 SBC teams in the field...

Also - they have Cajuns in over Texas State (one of the first 4 out). I think Texas State has a strong argument against the Cajuns.

Not sure on how to reply to a comment (don't see the option) anyhow, I see correlation b/t this D1 BSB writer and what someone else said was a conversation regarding a staff writer speaking to someone about UL and them nearly certain they're in. I'm def not 100% we're in, however, I give us a 90% chance. Won the series our last 3 wknds in Belt, put down Coastal 3 of last 4 times. Rolled into the Conference Championship on fire and the damn game last night was a blown strike call away from victory. I'm feeling good bout the Cajuns.

Hope you are right... I'm not feeling too good about it. I'm sure there will be a few more stolen bids... and I'm not confident the committee would put Cajuns in over Texas State.... maybe over Troy (Go Eagles!).
