Maddox Mandino came off the bench to post his first career, four-hit game, and Louisiana withstood a pair of rallies to edge No. 24-ranked Coastal Carolina, 12-11, on Wednesday in the 2026 Sun Belt Baseball Championship at DABOS Park.
Louisiana (36-21), the No. 7 seed in the tournament and looking to secure its fourth trip to the NCAA Regionals in the past five seasons, advanced to face sixth-seeded Texas State (35-22) in a winner's bracket game on Thursday.
