Why would our athletics account post about some random singer (i am assuming) as a big announcement.

Doesnt make sense

It's not him but it's the first major non football event in the new Cajun Field.

Using our facility to generate revenue to help with budget, and getting people acquainted with CF that may never have stepped foot in the facility.

I was hopeful for a construction zone with renovations on the east side of the football stadium since state funding is secured. Does this still start after the last football home game?

We are defiantly about to be officially sponsored by Orange Jager.

Not great timing since that’s the weekend that Cajuns baseball will be playing in the tournament at Daiken Park in Houston, where I expect a lot of folks from Lafayette that may have attended this event will be.

[Cajunjudo]

I would think the timing would be better if the team is on the road. The number of most diehard baseball fans willing to travel a few hours away wouldn’t conflict with this event.

We’d hear about parking issues if it were hosted the same weekend as a home series though 😆
