The atmosphere last night was terrible. Between the unbelievably loud freakin rap music and the extremely loud and aggravating announcer, it was almost more than I could stand.

I wasn't able to attend last night.

Very classy compared to Acadiana High. They were playing an unedited version of something called “Youngboy never broke again” by Dead Trollz last Friday against Southside. I ___ you not. How do I know? I had to Shazam that garbage. Not edited either. Don’t get me wrong, I love some garbage music, but there’s a time and a place. Not on middle school night with plenty of siblings and grandparents in the stands. Very disappointed in my Alma Mater.

It was so loud and muffled that I kept hearing the chorus “I see murder in my eyes.” This post would get hacked if I posted any other lyrics.

Our school struggles with doing things right. It's pushing me out the door and just streaming the games. I have control of the volume, timing and the folks I watch with.

What do you expect when we are giving Boosie BadAzz the keys to the parish and inviting him to speak at our schools as a role model. I know every generation seems to talk about the prior generation etc. but this is the first time I recall public officials supporting and hyping up someone with felony convictions... and he was such a good role model to his son....who just got arrested for armed robbery.
