The SEC tournament is utilizing an ABS system (Automated Balls & Strikes) system. Pretty cool in my opinion. Umpire still calls the balls and strikes but the pitcher, batter, or catcher can challenge. The challenge happens extremely fast. Less than 10 seconds from what I have seen. Each team gets three challenges. If the call is overturned they do not lose a challenge. Think we are seeing the future of baseball.
