Going forward as a better business practice, can Louisiana NOT schedule our BYE week the same week as TSAB? For years, they've been scheduling a BYE before Alabama game. The fact is we'd draw a bigger gameday crowd the last Saturday in October and while we're at it why not schedule Homecoming that week? Make it a tradition and make it BIG. From a fan standpoint try harder to schedule the BYE last Sat in September when its still freakin hot. Take the second BYE in early Nov. October has better football weather, take advantage!

I agree. But this year won't really matter because the 2 losses will kill attendance. Want to help that out, announce interim coaching changes now to help reignite a disgusted fan base. -
And after last night it’s really going to hurt the attendance for next home game if something isn’t done.
2024, we were winning games but still had a little attendance dip due to the other game.
2022, we were losing games trying to get to bowl eligibility and we only had a little over 7,000 show up.

Our fan base wasn’t enthusiastic about this hire from the start. Desormeaux had an opportunity to get everyone on board after the 10 win season and he has since crapped the bed more times than not.

if they don't come then they aren't fans and we don't need them. Just like all of the sob's here that scream fire DES every time the team doesn't perform up to expectations. He isn't out there missing the tackles. Problem is we have to many Karens and Kens and not enough that know their ass from a hole in the ground and this program doesn't need Kens and Karens we need people who work on solutions not just sit and bitch. I would rather sit in a stadium with 15 thousand real fans than a full stadium with a bunch of walmart fans who jump ship week to week when things don't work out their wayComment

I just posted in another thread that this program has no excitement around it at all. I witnessed that at the tailgate and game last weekend. I was shocked. I feel bad for the players during the cajun walk because there's basically 6 people there to watch them. He just doesn't move the needle with fans and losing very winnable games in bad fashion doesn't help endear himself to fans either.Comment

I totally understand what you are saying. However, people do have the right to be upset and angry over Des constantly underperforming. What I don’t like and you’re absolutely correct on this is people saying “well I’m going to stop donating period” when that money can go towards a certain coach’s buyout. Every dollar helps. Be part of the solution, not the problem.
