Louisiana fell 32-31 at Louisiana Tech on Oct. 10 on a Bulldogs touchdown with 46 seconds left. Tech leads the division at 2-0 in league play, and Louisiana is 2-1 with five conference games to go. The Cajuns (5-2 overall) bounced back with a 33-6 win over Troy on Oct. 17 at Our Lady of Lourdes Stadium, rushing for 243 yards and three touchdowns.

Well, let's see. When Nelson Stokley was our coach, I didn't ever think we needed a new one. When Billy Napier was our coach, I didn't think we needed a new one, along with most people I believe. So, no. That's not true. You can have a very good coach that most like, and not want a new coach. It can happen. They don't have to be perfect.
