Did Sampson or Strother play last night??

Not sure how many targets Sampson had but he had one short catch and dropped another on the sideline. I don’t remember if he was targeted other than those two. Strother did not play and is out indefinitely I believe.

I have to beleive Lunch has an injured arm, wrist, or elbow which would explain some of the criticism here. I thought his passing accuracy was the best we've seen earlier in the season. Tight spirals with accuracy, but that's changed lately. Running as much as he does is bound to injure multiple body parts and likely impact his ability to throw to his full potential. The bye week will be big for all players dealing with nagging injuries. Lunch will be starting at USM and will likely be the guy with the most carries.

At this point in the season, it would be very interesting to see another QB running the offense with a much highe % of pass plays. It would be a sneaky game plan that could work. I know Beale is back-up, but would love to see Coleman Carter getting some playing time. He can run it well with more speed than Lunch and has the best natural arm talen on the squad per a well informed staff member.

Last week at Tech, Josh Mcowen was giving us his football knowledge on the game and Tech as well. It was refreshing to listen to him talk football. Watching DM and EM, reminds me of The Ocho dodgeball call.

Once our new CEO is hired, the old needs to be swept out. Not only broadcast, but anything to do with GameDay operations...like the PA team, the band, concessions, etc. the whole thing is as stale as month old bread..

Dropped the first down on first series, forcing the punt which was dropped also and ST gave ball back to Offense. Wind was prob a factor on Troy return man, I was sitting in the same wind.

I don’t know Beal personally so this is not a criticism of him as a person. I have seen him play over the last couple of years and it’s been atrocious. If he is our backup, we are in trouble because there will be a time when lunch gets hurt and he has to go in. I’d much rather have my cat be the backup quarterback than Beal.

Hot take but i like Dan. Yeah he repeats stuff all the time but idk he just has that “Louisiana gameday” vibe and i like that. Anytime, someone else was doing the espn+ broadcast when he was away, it felt off.
