La Tech has announced that starting QB Trey Kukuk is out vs UL this weekend. Kukuk has been 48-73 with 3 TD's and 1 INT on the season and the team's 2nd leading rusher by only 1 yard. He is a real dual threat, the guy who will be taking over was originally named the starter Blake Baker but lost the job to Kukuk. Blake Baker is 21-36 for 360 yards and 4 TD's vs 1 INT, but does not have the running ability that Kukuk does. Baker has a lot of experience as he has started 7 games last year before getting injured and a couple of games before that where he got injured as well. Seems to have a history of getting injured.

Baker did not lose the job to Kukuk. He got hurt in the game vs LSU. I suspect that he is not 100% but not sure Tech has a choice. Next up on the depth chart is Jackson Bradley who is RS Freshman.

Sonny Crumbie has announced that Blake Baker will get the start, he fractured his hand vs LSU, so I am not sure what that looks like considering it was only a few weeks ago.
