Better 2nd half, good enough for the win. Hard to watch sometimes, but hopefully we can keep improving.

We played better but I wouldn't say the offense played well. We still averaged less than 4 yards per play which is terrible. I don't necessarily put that on the players though. Our offensive schemes just baffle me from game to game. We have times where we look to open up our play calling and we are effective and then there's stretches where we just try to plow over you with tiny backs and we become stagnant in the passing game with stretch screens. Des even admitted this in one of the games where he was going to the screen too much. You would hope they would learn from those times but we don't seem to. All in all a win is great but we have to evolve more offensively if we want a chance to win conference.

Bright side, it is a win probably against one of the worse FBS teams the Cajuns have played in decades. I'm convinced there was a tell Charlotte was picking up on with the tailback sweep to the left side. But overall, wore Charlotte down and won going away.

Need to figure out a more productive offense quick. Current YPP won't cut it down the road..

Best highlight of the game was the WAG in the stands right under 9 minutes left when the officials were reviewing the spot for Charlotte's 4th down. Had her head buried in her hand while the dude was yelling at the refs. She picks up her head and CLEARLY told him "Let's go..."

Improvements are absolutely warranted. Charlotte is bad.

Salgado's D continuing to do its thing and finally remembered Tillman came from Cajun Country.

When will we see Sampson back on the field? This situation is reminding me of the Easter Bunny in basketball a few years back.

I don’t know if the offense was better in the 2nd half, as much as Charlotte’s defense was completely gassed because our defense kept their offense off the field.

I like what I see out of our defense so far, though we’re still not going to know how good they really are until the next few weeks play out. Charlotte is a very bad football team. UAB may not be horrible. They did beat Navy.

My main concern is even if our defense really is as good as they’re looking, they’re going to have an off game or two. Can our offense score more than 28 vs. competent SBC competition?

Lunch averaged 5.73 yards per pass attempt last night, and 5.78 yards per pass attempt last week against UAB. Whether that's on him, the receivers, the playcalling, or a combination of all three...that ain't gonna cut it for the stretch of the season.

Went 3-1 in the non con with your best performances in week 1 and 2. Lamar may be the best win. They’d beat CLT and honestly it may not be close.

Just according to the espn predictability deal, as of today we’ll be favored in every game the rest of the way.

Figure it out on offense and we have a real opportunity to have a special season.

Louisiana opened -4 vs. stAte. Line moved to -6 already.
