Keep an eye on them for this year. If they are good they will be gone next year.

Which is why I would mostly seek junior four and five star bench warmers from talent graveyards.

Freshmen or Junior they both need to be coached up again.

Both would be gone after year two.

What does the depth chart on our running backs look like right now?

If the 5 for 5 actually gets implemented then we will be in good shape.

Garner, Smith and Blanco will get most of the carries. There's a transfer from Howard and the NOLA true freshman as well. Both are on the small side but appear to be good receivers.

Anthony Reagan is the guy from Howard, and I would be shocked if he is not in the mix in the top 3 backs. He will remind some of Raymond Calais. The other guy I am really interested in seeing, but I don't think he will get a ton of playing time yet is Ke'Rynn Smith from Holy Cross. Lots of big expectations for this young man. By the end of the season he might be the main guy in the backfield. We have a nice stable of backs, the difference between this year and previous is that we don't start the season with one or two experienced backs. I would suspect that when it is all said and done, if he stays, Ke'Rynn Smith will be the one of this group that we remember the most.
