Sounds like the “Lady Techster-ization” of our program is nearing completion. Not that I’m the biggest fan of Yvette, but I wonder how she feels watching the program she built seemingly crumbling to the ground.

    Sad days for sure.

After seeing a few more good pitchers come off the board today, the staff is worse now then at the end of season. Lazy ass recruiting.

See 273# in this thread. UL isn't getting any established P4 players.

Lazy recruiting. One phone call, they can make right now, and have a player. The ball is in their hands and they have zero urgency. I have talked to three players who would love to be at UL and would make UL better. Hopefully, they are not looking at people in the FL or TX summer leagues. Those rosters are weak.

The team will not be young next season.

Know for a fact that our staff was prioritizing pitching this off season. As of today, they have one pitcher to transfer in who is obviously a project. That is very disappointing and telling.

DJ Gasso put together a great portal class. Factoring in time and circumstance, it’s one of the best. Hired: June 5 Portal Open: June 8 Result? Six additions, five from P4 - Warncke (Baylor) - Brister (Texas) - Aumua (Auburn) - Griggs (KU) - James (Missouri) - Davis (Texas St)

When you are comfortable about your employment status, you tend to become complacent. After all Maggard begged her to take the job. I would be pretty comfotable too under those circumstances. Kinda takes away your incentive to perform.

They need a refund if they did.
