Landen Ortte is capable of lining up anywhere on the football field for the St. Thomas More defense.
That versatility and a high level of productivity helped Ortte, a three-year starter at free safety for the Cougars, earn an offer from the UL Ragin' Cajuns that the senior-to-be accepted with a recent verbal commitment.
"To be able to start as a sophomore is a rare feat, and to be able to do it at free safety shows the type of athleticism and hard-nosed football player he is," STM offensive coordinator Shane Savoie said of Ortte.
